Reflections was a two day art show on March 8 and March 9 in 2025 showcasing artists in state of reflection on their journey. I met with the curator Natalie Ayala who was very welcoming. I told Ayala about my journey in art so far and she encouraged me to sign up for galleries and possibly for another art show that she may host in the future.
This was my first art show that I have gone to and I was very surprised by how open many of the artists were to talk and really changed my perspective of going out to events. I talked to several artists such as Jared Schwartz, Micah Dadson, Anjali Jenna Knight, and a few other artists. I introduced myself as an artist to some of them and they all encouraged me to try getting into art shows and galleries. I really loved all the work of the artists and it especially made me happy to see a lot of mixed media works which I aspire to do in my career as an artist.
